Esports Australia are hosting National Qualifiers to the IESF World Esports Championships Riyadh 2024. Australia will be represented in Counter-Strike 2, Counter-Strike 2 Women, Dota 2 and eFootball competition tracks.
The prize pool for the 16th World Esports Championship of 1,000,000 USD, the titles Australia are competing in will feature:
Dota 2 and eFootball representatives will be selected and play in a series of exhibition test matches against New Zealand’s squad selected by NZ Esports.
The National Qualifiers will play online May 18-19th for Counter-Strike 2 and Counter-Strike 2 Women.
Registration:
Eligible players must be 18+, Australian Citizens and hold a valid Australian Passport with expiring not earlier than 6 months after the 19th November.
Players who are ultimately selected to represent Australia will be required to sign a player agreement and abide by the Esports Australia Code of Conduct.
Format and rules:
The competition will play in a double-elimination format over the two day weekend.
The ultimate winner of the bracket will be invited to Team Australia to represent Australia at the IESF World Esports Championship in Riyadh 2024.

The IESF World Esports Championships Riyadh 2024 will take place November 11-19th and is hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the city of Riyadh.
Asia Regional will take place September 6-14th hosted in Chengdu, China.
Oceania Regional will take place online on the following dates:
McRae cup hosted by NZ Esports (exhibition matches are a requirement for the IESF Qualification process) will take place in early June online, dates to be confirmed.
